Felt Dollhouse: Sneak Peek

First off, let me apologize for being MIA lately.  We are in the midst of packing and prepping for our upcoming move while also trying to prepare for and enjoy the holidays.  As usual, I probably bit off more than I could chew.  If there was any year to shop online, this would have been it, but *oh, no, I had to make some handmade gifts*  As a result, I've sorely neglected my little blog.

So, here's a sneak peek of what I've been working on for Olivia for Christmas:

Obviously, there's still a lot of work to do.  Since taking these pics, I've added windows to the front and the back of the house.  I still want to add flowers and grass along the bottom and need to add the buttons to side so that it can be buttoned up (you can see the loop closures already sewn into the opposite sides.  And...the dolls....I still need to make dolls and accessories (bed, table, couch, etc, etc).  I think I'm gonna be working on this right up until 6:30am Christmas morning.  And, in all likelihood, I'll be adding to her collection for the next several months.  Afterall, I'll have lots of extra time while we're traveling around.

Here's my dilemma.  I really want to take advantage of the *sticky* property of felt on felt, especially since Olivia will be playing with this in the car a lot.  So, I'm planning on making everything 2 dimentional.  What do you think are the most important pieces to try to have done by Christmas (aside from the dolls and a bed - Olivia is obsessed with putting babies to bed)?  Please leave a comment with your thoughts and ideas - I'm feeling tapped out and low on inspiration at this point.
