Switching Gears

Christmas is over and the New Year is here, which means the time has come for our big move across the country.  In a mere 36 hours (or less), we'll be hitting the road and driving from our current home in Southern California to a new home in North Carolina (exactly where is still to be determined).
We are currently in the throes of packing and let me tell you, if you've never tried to move with kids, I'd advise against it.  Or at least hire movers instead of doing it yourself.  Whew!  THIS is tough work!
So, for the next few months, you will not be reading a lot about crafts (except knitting and crocheting since that's a mobile craft).  Instead, I'll be blogging about our move and our new family adventures.  We will be spending 2 weeks on the road, 2 weeks in Charlotte, then 2 weeks in Raleigh-Durham.  Then its off to stay with my brother for a spell in the DC area, where we'll be adding our 2 kids to their 3 kids and pure chaos is certain to ensue.
So, stay tuned - letters (blogs) from a gypsy family coming soon!
